EditThe Team was started in 1995 when 2 guys who had been life long friends decided on fishing a King Mackerel Tournament , Eris Jones & Bobby Williams teamed up and fished the Sneads Ferry KMT ,,,, We finished in 9th place on a 19ft Mercury Powered Mitch Craft , The next weekend we placed again in the Topsail Offshore KMT . We continued usually having a fish to weigh in .. in 2002 the Boat Changed to a Yamaha Powered Hydra-Sports Bobby & Eris still fished some Tournaments but as life changes Bobby was not able to fish as much an Team members were added Glenn Jones another life friend had started fishing some tournaments and Garry Mauldin joined the Team in 2004 The Back-Lash qualified to fish the SKA Nationals ,,, We were in the big time , On Day 1 Big Garry became sick as we were heading offshore , We returned to the Dock and assisted him onto an waiting Ambulance ,,,, We were fishing, Garry said got get them tiger ... We were allowed to go back fishing by the SKA powers to be ,,,,,, We finished in 12th place in the Class of 23 there were app 150 boats fishing in our class ... Life Changes Glenn's dad became sick & Big Garry has passed away ... Believe it when you lose team mates it makes you second guess what you love doing. I had pretty much said forget Tournament fishing . 2014 life changes again ,,,, By the Luck of Social Media I was introduced to Craig Drye & Arthur Hall ,,,,,, They had fished together for many years and things worked , we clicked as a team , We are looking at many years of experience together ,,,,, in 2014 we finished 3rd place in SKA division 9 2nd place SKA senior angler , 2015 we will be fishing a 23ft Yamaha powered Contender .....
